Core Competency League Registration

Welcome to the Warhammer Phoenix Area Warhammer Society Core Competency League Registration!

I ask that you do a few simply things prior to registering to insure you and the rest of the players have the best possible experience. Here is a list of the things I hope to accomplish with the league.

  1. Have fun. This leagues sole purpose is for you all to have a great time and promote Warhammer across the Valley.
  2. Promote our local Game stores in the valley that provide us with places to play and product make our armies. I have no affiliation with any of the stores and am a customer in all of them. Please support them with your business.
  3. I am not perfect. (Just ask my wife if you don't believe me.) Please feel free to share your issues or problems with the league in a constructive way with me so I can improve or fix a problem. If you don't know me you soon will and if I am good at one thing it is effective communication.
  4. Please read the league rules prior to signing up so see if you think you can commit to playing the 1 game every two weeks. It is set up so you play a majority of your games in your home store. It people don't show up for multiple games with no good reasons you will likely be removed from the league until the next league.
  5. The league costs $20. You will be officially registered when you pay. I will send you a league pack and establish your place in the initial draft. This will be put into awards and prize support. I promise you I am not getting rich from charging you this money; it will all go back into the league.
  6. You will be expected to arrange your games with your opponents in a timely manner. Please don't assume your opponent can play you on the last day for the 14 day cycle and be surprised when he can't.

I want to thank Patty and Dave from Game Depot, Darren from Imperial Outpost, Kyle and Brock from Empire Games and Kevin from Gamers Inn for supporting the league in their stores and providing all of us with four great stores to push little guys around in.

  • After you register you will not get any indication that your registration has been sent, but I am getting them.
  • On November 15th I will be sending out emails containing player packets and payment instruction to everyone who has registered by that point. After that point I will send the email after I get the registration.
